The new homepage will put a higher emphasis on the search bar, and allows you do more right from the homepage.

Now you’ll be able to read previews of messages, and send messages without opening the facebook mail page.

A full list of new features will be available later today.

You can more screenshots of the new design over at http://mathewsanders.posterous.com

The new 'photos' section. Moved from applications at the bottom to the left sidebar.

Word is that you’ll all be moved over to the new design in the next little while.

What do you think of it?  Tell us in the comments section.
