The Beaverbrook Art Gallery will receive $1.5 million of government money for renovations, Minister of State for ACOA Keith Ashfield said Thursday morning.
The announcement comes as the gallery celebrates its 50 anniversary.

The Beaverbrook Art Gallery will  keep 85 paintings that the Beaverbrook Foundation said were loans, an appeals panel has decided.
The ruling upheld the 2007 decision of former Supreme Court of Canada justice Peter Cory.
