<p>The St. Thomas University men&#8217;s soccer team lost at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Nationals in Prince Edward Island after waiting 18 years to get there. <p>The St. Thomas University women’s hockey team beat the Dalhousie University Tigers 7-4 on Nov. 16 in a back and forth game. The Tommies entered the matchup with an 8-2 record compared to the Tigers&#8217; record of 4-7. The Tigers made their first goal just three minutes into the game on their second shot. <p>The St. Thomas University women&#8217;s rugby team lost to the University of New Brunswick Reds in the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association championship game on Nov. 3. The women faced the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics. <p>The St. Thomas University men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s rugby teams played their annual Think Pink games on Oct. 20 against the Mount Allison University Mounties. <p>The Toronto Maple Leafs have been an awful team for the past 20 years. They haven&#8217;t won a playoff game since the 2003-04 season when they defeated the Ottawa Senators. The team was completely rebuilt in 2014, when they traded Phil Kessel, Dion Phaneuf and others. They also cut salaries and finished last in 2015-16. [&hellip;]</p>

<p>St. Thomas University graduate and men’s hockey team alumnus, David Crossman participated in the World Ball Hockey Championships as part of Canada’s men&#8217;s team. The championships took place in Moscow, Russia in June. Crossman is a Riverview native, but moved to Fredericton in 2007 to study at STU and play for the Tommies hockey team. [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The University of New Brunswick Red Bombers walked away with a win against the University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves during their homecoming game.
