The women obliterated Dalhouse Agricultural on their way to a 78-19 win.The women opened the afternoon against the 0-2 Rams from Truro. <p>The Tommies men’s hockey team losing streak to open the season has hit ten games Saturday evening, but you won’t find head coach Troy Ryan questioning the team’s heart and determination. “I don’t think we gave up,” he said. “I saw them compete hard.” The Tommies dropped to 0-10 as they lost 6-1 Friday night [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The Tommies trounced the Dalhousie Tigers 7-1 in a cat fight this Sunday afternoon. The women’s hockey team played hard throughout the game which had tempers flaring by the third period. Kelty Apperson scored what turned out to be the game-winning goal 17:56 into the first. Apperson also scored again 18:00 into the second period [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Tommies forward Alexandre Leduc has been suspended indefinitely by head Troy Ryan for intent to injure following a dirty hit on St. Mary’s Huskies forward Brad Smith that left him with a broken ankle. “This type of behavior is not acceptable and it will not be tolerated by our men’s hockey program,” said Ryan through [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Sticky ice contributed to the women’s hockey team shut out victory against the University of Prince Edward Island on Saturday. The Tommies won 3-0 at the Grant Harvey Centre. The game was slow to start as players had to wait for the ice to freeze. Wet ice was a problem throughout the game, making strange [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The Tommies basketball and volleyball teams have finally found the new arena they’ve been looking for. It just so happens to be down the hill. The team will relinquish the South Gym and move to the Lady Beaverbrook Gym which became vacant when the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds moved into the new Currie [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Three St. Thomas University athletes were honoured this past week with awards that show strong dedication on and off the pitch. Kyla Tanner, the co-captain of the cross-country team, Hannah Davis, Captain and fly-half of the rugby team, and Max LeBreach, midfielder for the men’s soccer team, all were given awards for their contribution to [&hellip;]</p>

You don’t have nearly as much free time as most of your friends, you can almost never host a party, and what I’ve noticed lately is that there is almost no time to cook. <p>With the unveiling of last year&#8217;s championship banners, the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s St.Thomas basketball teams started life in the Lady Beaverbrook gym with two very convincing wins over The University of King&#8217;s College Blue Devils on Saturday. &#8220;The new gym is going to be great for the program and for our team. After their second straight undefeated season, which led to a ACAA championship and a bronze medal at Nationals; will this season bring more of the same? For every new season, comes a new team.
