On Saturday, Jan. 16 St. Thomas University announced the Francis Farrington Bursary.

This award honours the memory of Francis Farrington, former honours student and men’s basketball player who died unexpectedly in 2009. The award will be offered annually to returning students who have participated in intercollegiate basketball, have maintained a strong academic average, and who contributed to their community in a positive way.

Contributions can be made by contacting the University Advancement Office.
