Plan your route carefully because starting Monday Forest Hill Road will be closed to through traffic from the Route 8 ramps to the Beaverbrook Street/Waterloo Row intersection.

Local traffic will be allowed through for residents within the construction zone.

The section of road will be closed to allow construction crews to upgrade infrastructure.

The work is expected to take 10 weeks. A detour will take drivers around the construction site via Lincoln Road, Wilsey Road and Kimble Drive.

Construction and detour signs will be in place to warn motorists of the closure and to guide motorists through the detour route.
