Heavy rains continue to pound the city of Fredericton. The result is several roadways being flooded. The Westmorland Street Bridge was temporarily closed by City Police as road crews cleared large amounts of water from the North side on ramp. The bridge has since reopened. Police are asking motorists to exercise extreme caution during this rainfall. Recently fallen leaves are being blamed for clogging drainage in much of the city, resulting in temporary flooding throughout this part of the province.

Road crews clear the Westmorland Street Bridge from excess water which resulted in its temporary closure earlier this morning.
