When STUSU President Ella Henry came in to work today she was surprised to find someone had broken into the STUSU office during the weekend.

There was visible evidence of the door being forced open, and a general mess inside.  No serious damage or theft has been reported.

The break-in seemed limited to the main staff office, and not the president’s office, which is next door.  The Brunswickan (UNB’s student newspaper) office across the hall wasn’t targeted.

UNB campus security was notified, and they contacted the RCMP to file an official report.

Students’ Union executives denied comment until after they have spoken with the RCMP.

We’ll have more information as it becomes available.
